It’s been a while since I wrote a blog post! This RWBY inspired nail art was made in July (lol), and I’m happy I can finally post it!
RWBY is an anime character from the U.S. I don’t know so much about the anime, but she was the most requested character for nail art. Also, it was July when I did this design and the birthstone for the month is ruby, so I thought “why not give this character a try?”.
For the rest of the nails I went for a goth-type design, which is my favourite kind. Huhuhu I can’t wait for Halloween!!
I love the combination of sheer black, black and either red or blue. It works great with roses and laces.

It was my first attempt in drawing a character using only gel nail polishes. It was a little bit tricky at the beginning but I really like the vivid colours and fine lines I can create with gels. I need to practice more!
